Shear Colour Policies
At Shear Colour Hair Salon, your appointments are very important to us. In our industry, most stylists earn their income by commission. This means they do not get paid hourly and earn their living by taking care of the guest in their chair. If a client doesn’t show or cancels with little notice, this doesn’t leave an opportunity for the stylist to book another appointment. We reserve an appointment time for you and we always understand that sometimes adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations or reschedules.
Since our stylists are being booked for days out, we will be utilizing our new cancellation policy. Our appointments are electronically confirmed 48 hours in advance via texts and/or emails. Since the time is reserved for you personally, a cancellation fee may apply at your next visit, if you cancel within 24 hours in advance of your visit.
At the managements discretion, the following may apply:
- Less than 24 hours notice may result in 25% fee of scheduled services.
- No Shows may be charged 100% of scheduled services.
- All clients will have to leave credit card information on file that will be used to charge the fee.
At Shear Colour we want you to leave looking and feeling your best. We understand miscommunications may happen. However, if you're unsatisfied with any of your services, you must contact us via phone, 908-526-7400 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org, within 72 hours for a complimentary re-do.
This policy will not cover a change in style or color from what you and your stylist agreed upon. If you do not contact us within the 72 hour time frame, the full service amount will be applied to your ticket. We will voluntarily work with you for the best outcome, as there will be no refunds given.
